Ariana

Ariana is very antisocial and quiet. She mostly keeps to herself, and doesn't travel with a herd. She's known as the "ghost equid" by many herds (and human hikers as well; many have tried to catch her); often described as "the lone white equid on the ridge". She likes to travel along high points in the hills so she can always clearly see the sky and the land on all sides of her. She doesn't like being corned. If you do manage to talk to her, she's very polite and kind, but doesn't often say what she's thinking and can be a bit snippy. When she was younger, Ariana was hurt badly emotionally and still has trust issues because of this. She didn't make friends easily to begin with; said event didn't really help. Ariana fears that she will be betrayed again, and so avoids making any bonds. She's rather paranoid and views love (along with friendship) as stupid and useless emotions that are really just a waste of energy. In those very rare times where she finds herself caught up emotionally with someone else, she's quick to push them away, and often in a hurtful, cold way. This not only hurts Ariana, but also normally crushes the other equid. That being said, this is an increasingly rare event. She doesn't talk to very many equids, let alone become friends with them.
