Saline

Saline is a fairly quiet, refined, and well mannered equid. Ever since she was a foal she preferred mature conversations and educational things to romping about in the mud. She's a show equid and has been shown all of her life. This has given her a strong sense of pride and self worth. She attempts to keep her coat and hooves very clean all the time, which can be a struggle even though she's domestic. Because she never goes far, she has a much more free range then her barn mates. This means she gets to meet wild equids who come close enough to her barn. She has never actually been into the mountains, and it's on her mental list of things to do before she dies (it includes some pretty interesting goals, like going to a show in Paris and swimming in an ocean). Although she cannot write, Saline is very poetic, and she often makes up songs and poems on warm summer days and crisp autumn evenings.
